Courion Tip – Getting the user’s preferred language   Leave a comment

Using this code, if a users preferred language isn’t spanish, french, german or portuguese, or isn’t set, then it defaults to english. Of course, adding additional languages is easy.

Macro Name is GetUserLanguage

Native Query String is

SELECT CASE WHEN LanguageCode IS NULL THEN ‘en’ WHEN LanguageCode IN (‘de’, ‘es’, ‘fr’, ‘pt’) THEN LanguageCode ELSE ‘en’ END AS LanguageCode FROM Profile WHERE (ProfileUID = ‘%Custom Macro.AuthProfileID%’)
