Computer Administration http://www.spiceworks.com

Check out www.spiceworks.com — I haven’t installed yet, but I watched a podcast about it at: http://www.hak5.org/episodes/episode-402-spicy-reverse-engineering

This gives a nice summary also: http://community.spiceworks.com/topic/19793

——–update————-

Finally got around to doing this over the weekend. VERY nice, but a little picky about the configuration. I had to run this on all the machines:

netsh firewall set service remoteadmin enable

That got most of the PC’s to show up correctly. I still have some issues, but this link http://community.spiceworks.com/education/projects/Setting_The_Default_WMI_Namespace_Security?query=windows+xp+wmi+
looks promising.
